NTU Open House 2025

Early this March, the Resilient and Inclusive Cities Lab (RICL) had the exciting opportunity to showcase our research at NTU’s Open House! Dr. Emma Ramsay and PhD Candidate Ding Ning led an engaging demonstration and lab tour, offering visitors a firsthand look at our work and research spaces. We highlighted how our interdisciplinary approach aligns with the "Society" specialization in the Environmental Earth Systems Science undergraduate program at NTU Asian School of the Environment (ASE).

Through these interactive exhibits and guided lab tours, we shared insights into our latest projects, sparking meaningful discussions with prospective students and visitors eager to learn more about our work. In particular, we showcased how interdisciplinary research on nature-based solutions (NbS) is driving urban resilience and climate adaptation across the Asia-Pacific. Through fieldwork, collaboration, and science communication, our lab is building a strong evidence base that directly informs policy and real-world applications—helping cities become more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, asked questions, and participated in our demonstrations. Your enthusiasm fuels our passion for research and innovation!
