We are thrilled to announce that our lab's Principal Investigator, Perrine Hamel, was recently honoured with the Research Award (Young Investigator) at the College of Science Innovation Day 2024! This award recognizes her outstanding contributions to the field and her innovative work in sustainable building design in tropical Asia.

The ceremony, held at SBS LT1, was a wonderful celebration of Perrine’s achievements and the impact of her research on our community. The lab is incredibly proud of her dedication and the inspiration she provides to all of us. Her emphasis on integrating nature-based solutions and fostering emotional connections in architectural design resonates deeply within our team and beyond.

We also want to extend our gratitude to everyone who has supported and collaborated with Perrine on this journey. Your encouragement and collaboration have been invaluable in helping her achieve this milestone. It’s a privilege to work alongside such a passionate and visionary leader.

As we look ahead, we’re excited to see how Perrine’s work continues to shape the landscape of sustainable architecture. Congratulations, Perrine! You make the entire lab proud, and we are honoured to celebrate this moment with you.
